Why are you cheaper than my local salon?

ActiveBeauty.co.uk is an authorised stockist, we are usually cheaper than your local salon because we give you back any bulk purchase discounts that we receive from our suppliers and we operate on very tight profit margins. Running on very tight a margin means that you get the very best price.

We are also based in the Channel Islands, which means that we don’t get charged VAT on non alcoholic products under £18.00/€22.00, so that means you don’t have to pay VAT either. (Note we do pay VAT on product over £18.00/22.00 or on products that contain alcohol)

How quickly will I receive my purchases?

Following receipt of your order, we dispatch goods within 1 working day. We anticipate standard Royal Mail delivery to the UK within 2-3 working days. Deliveries to Western Europe within 14 working days. Rest of the world within 20 days.

What if I need to make an exchange or want a refund?

Your business is important to us and we want you to be completely happy with the goods we dispatch to you. Should you wish to return or exchange anything bought from us, we operate a 30 day no quibble policy provided it is in fully re-saleable condition. We do not charge for returns or exchanges.

For reasons of hygiene & safety, we cannot refund or exchange any grooming products or cosmetics that have been removed from the original wrapping (or show any signs of having been used) unless they are faulty.

Do I have to pay VAT & Customs Duties on what I have bought?

All of our prices are inclusive of VAT/sales taxes where applicable. If you incur sales taxes please retain proof of payment and contact us within 30 days of receipt, quoting your order number, to arrange for a refund.

Whilst Guernsey is not part of the European Union it is part of the Customs Territory of the European Community and therefore orders dispatched to countries with the EU are not liable for customs duties. Customs duties if incorrectly charged will not be reimbursed.


What do I do if I want to cancel an order?

We will refund your order in full including any postage and packing charged if you wish to cancel your order. The cancellation must be made in writing (email is acceptable) within 7 working days of receiving your order. We will refund the original payment method used to place the order and provide you with our returns address so you can return the goods to us at your expense. Please return the goods within 14 working days. For reasons of hygiene & safety, we cannot refund or exchange any grooming products or cosmetics that have been removed from the original wrapping (or show any signs of having been used) unless they are faulty.
